Sydney Monroe is an associate in the New York City office. She graduated from Villanova University in 2021 with a B.A. in Political Science.
She received her J.D. in 2024 from Rutgers Law School in Newark, New Jersey. While at Rutgers, she worked for the Education and Health Law Clinic, where she represented parents of students with special education needs and conducted research on psychiatric clearance practices in New Jersey public schools. She also served as the Managing Notes & Comments Editor for the Rutgers Computer and Technology Law Journal and was Secretary of the Rutgers Sports and Entertainment Law Society.
During law school, Sydney interned with the United States Postal Service, where she gained practical legal experience in labor and employment law. Prior to joining the firm, Sydney served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Nesle A. Rodriguez of the New Jersey Superior Court, Hudson Vicinage, in the Criminal Part. Through this experience, she was able to sharpen her writing skills and develop a more thorough understanding of court proceedings and the litigation process. She plans to transfer this knowledge to her practice as a litigator with FitzHunt.
Outside of work, Sydney enjoys running, trying new coffee shops, and exploring the city.
Sydney is admitted to the Bars of New York and New Jersey.
