Michelle Brady is joining Fitzpatrick, Hunt & Pagano, LLP as an associate with the New York office. She is an LL.M. candidate and comes to the Firm from a two-year clerkship at the U.S. Court of Appeals for Veterans Claims in Washington, D.C. Prior to her clerkship, she was the civilian Air Force attorney at Moody Air Force Base, GA.
Michelle graduated from the University of Kansas School of Law, where she was the president of the Military Law Society and a member of the Moot Court Council. During law school, she interned at the U.S. District Court for the District of Kansas and was the recipient of both advocacy awards for her class.
Prior to law school, Michelle served in the Army as an AH-64 helicopter pilot-in-command, Air Mission Commander, and company commander with tours in the Republic of Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan, for which she received the Order of Saint Michael and the Bronze Star. She holds a commercial helicopter license with instrument rating from the FAA.
Michelle is also an avid writer, and her articles have been published in the Veterans’ Law Journal, Charleston Law Review, and Saint Louis Law Review. She is admitted to the Bars of New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Washington, D.C., Missouri, and the U.S. Supreme Court.
