Riley Wallis is an associate in the firm’s litigation practice at Fitzpatrick, Hunt & Pagano, LLP. Riley has experience across all phases of litigation, from pleadings through trial and appeal. His litigation experience includes aviation, employment, commercial, and personal injury matters.

He has been part of trial teams in jury trials through verdict and has worked on pretrial, trial, and post-trial briefing, evidentiary issues, and witness preparation. Riley also has experience with appellate briefing, including issues involving jury instruction error, sufficiency of the evidence, and issues of first impression. In 2025, Riley was a member of the trial team representing the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Los Angeles and a Catholic school in an employment matter involving claims for wrongful termination and whistleblower retaliation. Plaintiff’s pretrial demand was $10 million. After an eight-week jury trial, the jury returned a defense verdict on the wrongful termination claim and awarded $760,000 on the remaining claim, with no punitive damages awarded.

Riley earned his J.D. from Chapman University Dale E. Fowler School of Law in 2024 and a B.B.A. in finance from Loyola Marymount University in 2019. Riley’s academic background in finance enhances his ability to evaluate claims and damages in complex litigation.

He is admitted to practice in California and the United States District Court for the Central District of California.
