Chris Mills is a seasoned trial lawyer who brings a decade of litigation experience across federal, state, and administrative courts to the firm’s aviation and commercial litigation practice. Chris built his foundation as a criminal prosecutor, serving as lead counsel in complex matters across three jurisdictions where he developed a reputation for thorough preparation, sound judgment, and courtroom success.
Prior to joining Fitzpatrick, Hunt & Pagano, LLP, Chris served as a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the Central District of California, an Assistant Chief Counsel with the Department of Homeland Security and an Assistant District Attorney at the New York County District Attorney’s Office. Across these roles, he tried and won multiple jury and bench trials, litigated contested motions, managed voluminous and complex discovery, and successfully defended verdicts on appeal. His federal practice included high-stakes national security matters, among them proceedings involving allegations of material support for terrorism and human rights abuses. The precision and command of complex factual records these matters demanded are qualities Chris brings to every client he represents.
Chris is a cum laude graduate of Suffolk University Law School, where he was a member of the Journal of High Technology Law and received the Jurisprudence Award in Evidence. He received his B.S. in Finance, cum laude, from Plymouth State University.
